Saturday 9: Ballad of Gilligan's Island (1964)

1) This is about the fateful cruise of the S.S. Minnow. If you had a boat, what would christen it?
 The Unsinkable.

2)  "No phone! No lights! No motorcar! Not a single luxury!" To Sam, those sound more like everyday essentials than luxuries. If you were shipwrecked with the gang, what standard amenity would you miss the most?
 The grocery store.

3) The uncharted isle was in the Pacific, near Hawaii. Have you ever been to our 50th state?

 Not yet!

4) Natalie Schafer, who played Mrs. Howell, refused to divulge her age. Are you honest about how old you are? Or do you fudge it?

I am very honest with my age. I don't need to hide it, proudly 33 with a 16 year old body and looks. How about that? Lol!

5) Gilligan's Island featured many dream sequences. (Like the one where Gilligan dozes off and dreams that he's Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk.) Have you had any vivid dreams lately?

 None.

6) The pilot was filmed in November, 1963, in Honolulu. The cast and crew were actually onset when they learned of President Kennedy's assassination.* Because on location filming was so expensive, they couldn't afford to take any time off.  Tell us about a time when you had to work, even though your heart and head weren't in it.

I think when the baby boy started kicking and moving at any time I am teaching I just want to lay down and get a hug from the husband but I needed to finish my job. I am 34 weeks pregnant and still working. Oh, well, at least I am working at home.

7) During the show's run, Mary Ann (Dawn Wells) was the clear fan favorite, receiving twice as many love letters as Ginger (Tina Louise). Have you ever written a fan letter (or posted a fan tweet or Facebook post)?
None. I wanted to send one to Brad Pitt and ask him why Mr. and Mrs. Smith needs to break up.

8) Sam chose this week's song because it was going through her head, over and over again! Tell us a song that burrows into your head and stays there.

 Secret Love Song.

9)  Random question: You went to a discount store and got an amazing bargain -- a pair of dress shoes for just $4.99. You go to a formal event and someone compliments you on those great shoes and asks where you got them. Do you tell the truth?

Why not? I should be honored. At least I was able to look great and spent less.

Saturday 9: Hold It Against Me (2011)

1) Britney Spears addresses this song to a dance partner when she hears her favorite song. What song always makes you want to get up and dance? Hit me with your best shot! ♫♪♬

2) She sings that she needs a vacation. How about you? If you could escape anywhere for an affordable three-day weekend, where would you go?

Sweet escape to Maldives with the husband.

3) Britney shows off her dance moves in this video. Her coordination shouldn't be surprising, since she was already an accomplished gymnast in grade school. If we asked you to turn a somersault right now, could you do it?

 NO!

4) Britney's first and only feature film was Crossroads, written by Shonda Rhimes. Ms. Rhimes is famous for writing popular TV series including Grey's Anatomy, Scandal, The Catch and How to Get Away with Murder. Have you watched any Shonda Rhimes shows?

 Yes!

5) Britney admits to smoking and biting her nails. Do you share either of these bad habits?

NO!The only bad habit I had is shopping and eating.

6) Britney prefers Margherita pizza to thin slice or deep dish pizza. What's your pizza preference?

 Hawaiian and Cheese Overload.
7) In 2011, when this song was popular, Prince William's wedding to Kate Middleton was big news. Are you a royal watcher?

 Not much.
8) Apple co-founder Steve Jobs died in 2011. Do you have a Mac, and iPad or an iPhone?

 All of the above.
9)  Random question: Which friend annoys you more, the one who interrupts you all the time, or the one who is never on time?

None of the above! I love my friends for who they are and they respect me for who I am.

Saturday 9: Tubular Bells (1973)

1) According to Reader's Digest, The Exorcist is the scariest movie of all time. Have you seen it, and if so, did it scare you?
No. I don't want to scare myself. I am fond of watching horror movies before not until I discover my third eye is open and it's not fun at all.

2) The Exorcist has been made into a TV series on Fox, premiering last month. Have you become a fan of any of the season's new shows?

I was addicted to "Breaking Bad" and waiting for the new season of "Game of Thrones."

3) "Tubular Bells" is a popular ringtone for both Android and iPhone. What's your ringtone?

My phone is in a silent mode always! I just kept it on a vibrate mode.

4) As Halloween approaches, do you watch more scary shows and movies?

 No!

5) Do you have any recurring nightmares?

Yes! I always dream of the dead, talking to them about gold and jewelries. It's always the same place wherein I use to play when I was a kid and the same scenario.

6) Have you carved a jack o' lantern this year?

 Not yet!

7) Do you like the taste of pumpkin seeds?

 I love it!

8) What will the trick or treaters who knock on your door get?

I asked someone to bake some cupcakes and cookies for the kids.

9) A Halloween "let's pretend:" Back in the 1950s, a home in your neighborhood was the site of a gruesome murder/suicide. Relatives retained ownership of the house but declined to live there. During the ensuing decades, a legend grew: The tragic couple haunts the halls. Generations of schoolchildren insist they heard strange sounds and saw curtains often move mysteriously. Now the house is about to be demolished. A local charity is raising money by sponsoring a Halloween sleepover. Would you be willing to stay in this haunted house over night?

 Pass!
